Annabel and I flew into Florida last week, and our trip
was perfectly timed to coincide with Tropical Storm Fay's arrival in Florida!

SCENE SEEN BY THE SEA
We saw this sky two days after our arrival, when
the weather conditions had become considerably calmer.

STORMY WEATHER
On the morning after our arrival, Annabel
and I went out for a drive in the bluster.

SURF'S UP!
In the afternoon -- on the same day as the previous picture -- the rain cleared
and all of these surfers came out to take advantage of the storm-enhanced waves.

RIDIN' THE STORM OUT
On this day, there were many good waves to ride.

CHOPPY CHANNEL
Palm Beach is on a barrier island, with Lake Worth separating it from West Palm
Beach and the mainland. In this photo, one can view Palm Beach in the distance,
just beyond an extremely agitated Lake Worth. On the left, just above the box-cut
bushes, one can glimpse a draw-bridge that connects Palm Beach to the mainland.

TENTACULAR TREE TRUNK
Along with the omnipresent palm trees, there are
numerous trees with the most peculiar, vein-like trunks.

TREE HOUSE
Using Annabel as a point of reference, one can
get an idea as to how large these trunks can grow.

(That's it for this week!)
