THIS WEEK'S FOCUS: MY NEEDLE APONEUROTOMY
The primary reason for my trip to Florida last week was to have a surgical
procedure on my hand. The photos this week may not be particularly
artistic, but they do reveal before-and-after views of my hand.

MY OLD HAND
I have a condition called Dupuytren's Contracture, and this is
as far as I could open my hand on June the 4th of this year.

MY NEW HAND
This photograph of my hand was taken today,
thirteen days after the operation on my hand.

(Warning: The last photo of my hand -- below -- was taken by Annabel on the
evening of my surgery. It may be an unpleasant sight for some visitors!)

MY POST-SURGERY HAND
One great thing about the minimally invasive percutaneous fasciotomy
is that I remove the band-aids from my hand on the evening of my surgery.
Annabel took this photo shortly after I had taken the band-aids off of my hand.

(That's it for this week!)
